Spaghetti Tacos
Do your kids watch iCarly on Nickelodeon? My kids love it. One of the things that Spencer (one of the characters) makes is spaghetti tacos. My kids have been asking me to make them for some time but I just never did. They didn't sound all that appetizing to me. Spaghetti in a taco shell? Really?
But they asked again while we were grocery shopping so I bought some hard shell taco shells (my kids normally never eat hard shell taco shells!) We made spaghetti tacos.I tried to take a picture of my son's taco before he ate it but he was too excited to try it. And the next thing I knew here was my picture...
I think he liked them.He ate 4 of them before I could even sit down.
My daughter wanted no sauce. 
She's my no sauce girl. Just noodles and butter. She didn't think they were nearly as wonderful but she liked the idea of eating the same thing that Carly eats =o) She's 5. It's the little things in life that make her happy. I don't mind that one bit =o)So, spaghetti tacos anyone???

Ha Ha! I've never heard of spaghetti tacos(or watched iCarly), but it looks like spaghetti tacos may become a new trend, at least at your house:) Your son definitely looks like a happy camper!
I am telling you; you are the best mom! I have seen the show. My daughter watches it. I love the character Spencer. I think it is genius that you tried it because it sounds like something every kid would love, me too:)
My girls are iCarly fans! Last year they made the Spaghetti Tacos at Girl Scouts and loved them. So far they have not convinced me to make them :)

Hahaha omg good mamas think alike! I was just doing a post on this but the pics of my girls arent downloading at the moment so i thought id look at blogs and i about died laughing! They have been begging for them and i finally said yes. i love them so much and iCarly is on all the time at our house! We have all DVDs and all we even have the gummy bear lights... its sad but fun addiction we are even making the tacos and the waffle bouquet for my oldest daughter(shes turn 4) birthday in acouple weeks.! Maybe ill wait and post that :)

Too funny...we did this exact same post a few months back. Now my kids ask for spaghetti tacos at least once a week.

My daughter is a no-sauce girl too. I was the same at that age. For her and her little brother I use butter and parmesean, sometimes a little garlic. It's Ok because now that I like sauce, I can use the extra for dipping my garlic bread! Yum!!
ha ha ha ha...I've been wondering how long I'd be able to make it without my kiddos asking for spaghetti tacos. Surprisingly, they haven't. BUT, I may do it just to surprise them :D
