I can hardly believe it's August 1st already. Yikes! That means school is around the corner. So that means school shopping. I'm not a big shopper so this is something I always dread. 

So what do kids need for school: school supplies, clothes, shoes.  My kids get new lunch boxes because theirs are trashed.  But what does my daughter want?  Hair bands and jewelry.  Yep, that's what she thinks is most important about back to school.   Was I the same when I was in 2nd grade?  I don't remember.

One thing she is really into right now if charm bracelets.  She loves them!  I remember having a charm bracelet when I was younger.  All of the charms reminded me of something special.  My daughter now loves  picking out the charms.  They all have a story to go with them about something.  It's pretty funny.
