The Bavarian Nut Company Giveaway

After travelling to Germany and falling in love with the sweet, delicious cinnamon glazed almonds common around Christmas time, Cathy, owner of The Bavarian Nut Company, came home and immediately tried to figure out how she could reproduce this German favorite.  After lots and lots of research, she found where she could buy the roasting machine and have it shipped to her from Germany.  And The Bavarian Nut Company was born.

I have a strong fondness for The Bavarian Nut Company.  Oh sure, part of it is because it's my Mom's company but that's only a very small part.  The larger part is the amazing products!

The Bavarian Nut Company has different products to chose from, like their Gluten Free Fruit and Nut Granola.  Hand roasted, not too sweet, granola full of Bavarian roasted nuts, thick cut rolled oats, dried fruits and seeds. Sweetened with just a little honey and brown sugar.  Wonderful with yogurt and fresh fruit.  Gluten free and dairy free.

Hazelnut Flour (meal).  Hazelnut Meal/Flour is made from pure, ground hazelnuts. Perfect for adding a rich flavor to all baked goods, from breads and muffins to cakes and cookies. Substitute up to one-third of the recommended flour in your favorite recipes with hazelnut flour. It’s low in carbohydrates and a good source of dietary fiber and protein.

My absolute favorite Bavarian Nut Company product is the Cinnamon Glazed Almonds (gebrannte mandeln).  This was the first product Cathy came out with.   It's the traditional German favorite.

Don't they look amazing?  Well, they are even better.  They are crunchy with the right amount of sweet and cinnamon.

Over the years new products and recipes have been developed.  My son's favorite are the Praline Pecans.  Southern style pecans hand roasted in caramelized sugar and pure vanilla.  Delicious in desserts and in your favorite green salad.  My son says now way, he wants a cone to devour all by itself.

Cones?  Yep, when I said authentic German treat, I wasn't kidding.  They are packaged just how you would buy them in Germany.  When they are warm, right out of the copper kettle, you can buy them in paper cones.  I can imagine walking down the streets of Nuremburg smelling the amazing scent of cinnamon and eating fresh, warm almonds.  When they have cooled, Cathy packages the nuts in cones.

Here's the best part for you.   How would you like to win some of these amazing products?  The Bavarian Nut Company has offered to give away a medium cone of Cinnamon Glazed Almonds, one medium cone of Cinnamon Glazed Pecans (our favorites) and one bag of Gluten Free Fruit and Nut Granola to one of our readers.  Enter on the rafflecopter below.

Good luck!  Giveaway is open to Continental US residents, 18 years old age and older.  Ends December 16th.  Product will be shipped in time for Christmas!
