Red Velvet Pound Cake (the Easy Way)

Who knew Red Velvet was so good?!?!  I had no idea.  (Where have I been?!?!)  It wasn't until we made our Red Velvet Cheesecake Bars that discovered this treat.  Now I'm hooked.

This Red Velvet Pound Cake was the inside to our I Heart You Pound Cake (which was so much fun.)  And it was delicious!  And so easy!

Red Velvet Pound Cake (the easy way)
* 1 box of Red Velvet Cake Mix
* 1 box instant pudding mix - white chocolate
* 4 eggs
* 1 1/4 cups water
* 1/2 cups oil
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Mix the ingredients in a large bowl for about 2 minutes.  Pour into prepared pans (sprayed with flour cooking spray.)

I used 2 loaf pans but you could use a bundt pan.

Bake for 55 - 80 minutes depending on your pan.  When I make a pound cake in a bundt pan, I cook it for almost 90 minutes.  In a loaf pan, I cooked these for 60 minutes.

Cool in the pan for about 15 minutes and then turn onto a wire rack to cool completely.

I love the rich red color.  And the taste?  Perfect!
