I'll be the first to admit it - I am in love with bread. Yep, you read that right. I love it. I love everything about it. I get extremely sad when I hear people can't eat it. It's just not right. But something I love more than bread? Donuts! But that's a different post. Cresent Rolls. I love them. I love how buttery they are. I could eat the entire package. But I don't. Let me add that again... I don't. I just want to.
So how does one make these buttery wonders into something more healthy? Okay, so not so healthy, just a meal. Yeah, into a meal? Add mozzarella cheese and pepperoni! Oh yeah, baby! Little pizza Cresent rolls. (Drool.)
They are super easy and taste great. A prefect "I don't have time to cook anything but I'm tired of chicken nuggets" kind of meal.
Open you can of Cresent rolls and lay them out on a silpat (or counter or baking sheet.)
I cut a string cheese stick in half and added one piece of string cheese and some slices of pepperoni.
Then rolled them up. They weren't perfect (as you can see.)
Then baked them according to the package directions.
Delish! Serve with warm marinara sauce or pizza sauce.
