Rocky Mountain Popcorn Company Giveaway

Are you a popcorn lover?  I haven't met too many people who aren't.  Popcorn is a delicious snack or dessert and we love it.

 

One of the great things about popcorn is all the different varieties you can get.  I remember back when there was plain and butter.  But not anymore!  There are sweet flavors and savory flavors and flavors with a kick.  Oh the possibilities!

Rocky Mountain Popcorn Company makes a delicious, air popped  popcorn in so many great tasting flavors. They are also certified gluten free and produced in a nut-free facility.  I have a lot of friends who have children who are allergic to nuts.  Their choices when it comes to snacks and desserts is so limited.  What a treat to have all these amazing flavors available.

 

Their most popular flavor is White Cheddar.  It's coated in the perfect amount of tangy cheddar cheese.  I love Cheddar popcorn but they didn't send me this flavor to try =o(

 

 

 I'm a huge caramel popcorn lover and Rocky Mountain Popcorn Company's Caramel popcorn did not disappoint!  It was crunchy and sweet and delicious!

 

 

My daughter's favorite flavor was the Cinnamon and Sugar.  It was light and fluffy with the great taste of cinnamon and sugar.  Who wouldn't love that?!  It's their newest flavor and I'm guessing it will quickly become very popular.

 

 

Kettlecorn is the perfect combination of sweet and salty.  It's one of my favorite flavors!

 

 

Jalapeno flavor was spicy and tasted like what I think jalapenos taste like.  I'm not a fan of spicy but my co-worker is so I gave this flavor to him.  He said it was delicious.  Perfectly spicy and a fantastic treat.  (He ate both bags in one sitting!)

 

 

RM Popcorn Butter flavored popcorn tasted exactly like movie theater popcorn.  And who doesn't love movie theater popcorn?!  We sure do so we gobbled this flavor up quickly.  It had all the buttery flavor without the greasy stuff that gets all over your fingers when you're in the movies.  It was perfect!

 

Southwest Cheddar was inspired by the rich red chili flavor of the Southwest.  It's fiery hot and deliciously flavorful at the same time.  Again, my co-worker benefited from my inability to eat spicy foods.  I did try it, though, and I loved the Cheddar flavor.  The kick was a little too much for me but my co-worker said it was fantastic!

 

And the last flavor is Naked.  I loved that name for it because it doesn't have any flavors or butter added to it.  It was simple and fluffy and delicious. 

 

Look at the nutritional information for the Naked flavor.  It's perfect for when I want a snack but I don't want the calories.  I'm trying so hard to lose a few pounds and this would be perfect to have in my desk at work for when I need a snack.

 

 

Still not sold on the benefits of popcorn?  Did you know that popcorn is good for you?  Rocky Mountain Popcorn is all natural, gluten free and certified non-GMO kernels.  Popcorn is a great source of protein, with more protein that any other whole grain.  Popcorn also has more iron content per serving that spinach or eggs!  It's also high in anti-oxidants.  How can you argue with facts like that?!

I could explain to my kids why they should eat popcorn instead of other desserts choices.  I could tell them that it's good for them, quote some facts about fiber and that it's all natural.  But they are kids.  All I have to tell them is that it tastes great and they will try it.  And when they did, they loved it.  WHat a great snack for them to take to school!
